Meet Sabrina!
Sabrina Khandai (she/her) is the Clinical Director and founder of SK Resilience Centre Psychotherapy & Consulting.

Sabrina is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with the International Association of Trauma Professionals.

Having one's story be heard and validated, remains at the core of her role as a psychotherapist. Sabrina is known for her warm demeanour, comforting presence and person centred approach, which she uses to promote therapeutic change and emotional healing. She values genuine connection, curiosity, and openness when supporting others. She understands that healing is never linear, and is equipped to join those she supports on their often winding journey towards their goals.
Sabrina is passionate about supporting individuals of all ages, orientations, and cultural backgrounds. Sabrina has a strong interest in normalizing mental health and therapy within the Indo-Caribbean community, as she is of the same descent. Additionally, she contributes and advocates for mental health education and care by supervising psychotherapists and students, and delivering workshops within the Durham Region and the GTA. When Sabrina is not supporting others, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, spoiling her kitty Millie, crafting and creating, and trying new viral recipes!

Sabrina holds a Master's of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counselling from Niagara University. Previous to this, Sabrina completed an Honours Bachelor's of Science from the University of Toronto. She is also Certified in PEERS Social Skills for Young Adults through the UCLA Semel Institute.
